Graduates of this MSc can offer companies their competences in:
- Understanding the complex process of internationalisation
- Addressing the impacts of cultural, administrative, political, geographical, economic distance on doing business abroad
- Using methods and tools for the analysis and evaluation of the business environment abroad
- Managing multiculturalism and diversity.
Our professors come from all around the globe. They are academics, entrepreneurs, innovators, research directors, CEOs, VPs of marketing, directors of finance; they are recognised experts in their fields of expertise.
Classes are small enough to be truly interactive and provide a multicultural experience. In recent years, MSc IB classes have been made up of students of some 25, or so, countries The teaching approach is applied and participatory: group work, case studies, and real projects with businesses.
Overall, the programme balances practical business applications and teaching of cutting-edge research and ideas.
Core courses provide the knowledge to understand and manage the global economy:
- how firms decide to go abroad and manage their internationalisation process
- how industries change and firms compete
- how markets should be managed and financial decisions made
- how to cope with diversity and legal issues.
