MSc in Management with Specialization in Strategic Marketing It has been a month since moving to Lisbon and studying at Católica-Lisbon, I can say the experience so far is amazing. The city itself is great to live in, from the beautiful buildings and breathtaking sunsets at the “Miradouros” to the many markets and parks. Lisbon is a vibrant city with lots of fun for everyone. However, do prepare for the many steep streets when walking in the city. As for the university, from day one they have provided fun activities to get students acclimated to life here. The many activities also helped students get to know each other and make some connections. The university also focuses on the “personal aspect” of a student’s life. There are several small things that reflect this focus, such as the class groups that aren’t too big or the teachers that try and focus on remembering students’ names in class. The journey at Católica has been nothing short of amazing so far. I can truly recommend all students to move to beautiful Lisbon and come and study at one of Europe’s best business schools.

International MSc in Management I am so glad I chose Catolica Lisbon to study my Master's program. My experience has not been short of incredible. Before starting classes, I got to meet colleagues who shared the same excitement to jumpstart the next step in their career while also having fun and exploring beautiful Lisbon. The welcome activities by the university were carefully and intentionally planned, where we got to know more about the program specifics and meet more of the people with whom we would be sharing this experience. Some activities allowed us to bond through funny activities like the one in the picture. Regarding the university, while talking with Portuguese people, I confirmed the high reputation Catolica Lisbon holds in Portugal and in Europe overall. When it comes to the professors, they're very approachable and knowledgeable. The courses are value-added, and the variety of electives makes it easy for me to decide what topics I would like to further explore. Staff from the careers & talent office create many opportunities for you to never lose sight of what comes after graduating. One of my favorite things about living here is the abundance of options: are you going to spend your Friday afternoon at the beach, at one of the many miradouros (viewpoints), trying a new restaurant or just strolling around the city center? Maybe you want to try a surfing class in Caparica like I did!

MSc in Management with Specialization in Strategic Marketing Hello, my name is Gabriela, I’m 22 year old Portuguese and I’m studying a Master of Science in Management with Specialization in Strategic Marketing. After my bachelor’s degree, I decided to take a Gap Year where I could do volunteering and have new experiences. I always knew that after that year I would like to do a Master but didn’t know which one and were. Until I found CATÓLICA-LISBON, and after researching a little about each master's degree and the university, I decided that the MSc with specialization in strategic marketing was my path and could help me connect three things that I love: logistics, marketing, and people. The welcome days at CATÓLICA-LISBON were important for me because I had the opportunity to meet people from other master’s degrees, who now I recognize when I walk around the campus, and see the real spirit of connection between teachers, staff members from the university and students. But the thing that surprised me the most was the connections with companies since day one, which showed me that school really wants us to achieve greatness, work in our path, and be the best version of ourselves since day one. I never knew what sector I would like to work in or in which kind of job, but after those days I had a small idea of what I would like to do in the future. The thighs I like the most at my Master’s are the teachers, they are always available and they really want to help us and my colleagues since we fell a sense of camaraderie and the fact that we are a multicultural course provides me the opportunity to learn and growth every day. I didn’t know what to expect but now CATÓLICA-LISBON is my home and I know that I will achieve greatness with the help and education from this university.

Instead of delving into the details of our courses, the program, or our esteemed professors, I would like to shine a spotlight on the exceptional individuals I've had the privilege of meeting during my brief yet extraordinary time in Lisbon and at Católica. When I left home to study and live in a country I had never visited, I never could have imagined forming so many genuine friendships in such a short span. Even before our welcome week officially started, numerous students came together to explore the beauty of Lisbon as a collective for the very first time. When my first week at our university started, I crossed paths with an array of remarkable people, people who I am certain will remain a part of my life long after my academic journey ends. Católica Lisbon possesses a unique ability to forge connections among its students. Never have I encountered an environment where so many like-minded peers come together with a shared desire to connect. It does not matter if it is studying or working, or living in Germany or in Portugal, for me, it’s never about what I am doing or where I am, but rather, it's always about whom I am doing it with and who is with me and I could not be happier with the choice to continue my academic journey at the Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics.
