Meet Tomas (MiM'22)! Tomas came to Georgetown from Colombia, where he graduated from EAFIT University with a bachelors degree in Economics and a masters degree in International Business. Tomas previously worked in Grupo Exito, a retail leader in Colombia. After graduating from Georgetown with his Master of Science in Management (MiM'22), Tomas accepted a position as Pathways Operations Manager at Amazon in Orlando, Florida. How did MiM prepare you for this career opportunity? "Given the Masters of Science in Management is a one year program, the curriculum is highly dynamic and high paced. The high intensity and cohort model of the MIM program prepares us for a workplace environment with diverse teammates, deadlines and high expectations. A curriculum that gave us the business tools needed to continue to succeed in our careers was well balanced with a cohort model that allows us to meet new people from different backgrounds and skillsets to enrich our process."

The diversity in thought, professional experience, and background allowed our classes to be rich in discussion. I learned so much from my classmates and fostered lifelong friendships.”
