After graduating from the SMF program and starting my career, I implemented many of the technical skills I learned at Fisher and used Macro to help the IT team complete a complicated "Poison Pill Project." Later on, the soft skills I learned while in the program, especially networking and interview skills, helped me land highly desirable offers and continually use my financial skills to back up my teams' projects.

Fisher's MHRM program provided incredible opportunities to immerse myself in the world of business and human resources. I valued how I was connected to experiences to network with dedicated professionals from various industries and the greater Columbus area. My time in the program has influenced my ability to adapt and be successful working in Human Resources after making a career pivot. I am proud to be an alum of this program!

The MAcc program at Fisher was everything I sought in a Master of Accountancy program and more. It prepared me intellectually for my career through academic courses that weren’t simply accounting “how-to’s” but instead emphasized a mindset of curiosity and questioning I can apply even today. The flexibility of the academic electives also allowed me to take courses outside of accounting, further expanding my interests in other fields such as AI and Management. Lastly, the resources provided through Fisher, such as the Office of Career Management, were critical in helping me land the job that I am at today. I would not be where I am today if it were not for the MAcc program.

The SMB-A program was one of the best decisions I've made in my career, both for professional and personal growth. From a professional lens, the graduate degree led to me being able to take the next step in my career as a data scientist. The SMB-A program challenged me to think and work harder than I had before, resulting in skills I use to this day and will use for many years going forward. The program's hybrid format was ahead of its time, and I cannot speak highly enough of the condensed 10-month timeline. The program faculty are some of the best I've worked with. For anyone looking to transition into an analytics career, or take the next step in their career that is already in data science, the SMB-A program is the perfect step for just that.
